What are the Gene-Auto Eclipse tools?

The Gene-Auto base toolset is primarily intended to be a qualifiable embedded code generation toolchain. It is implemented in core Java using only a minimal set of external libraries.

The Gene-Auto Eclipse tools provide complementary facilities to interface Gene-Auto with the Eclipse Modeling Framework (EMF) provided features and other Eclipse based tools. There is also a user interface that allows to run the Gene-Auto code generator directly from Eclipse and edit the Gene-Auto model files.

There are two sets of tools related to Gene-Auto and Eclipse. The Gene-Auto EMF Model Converter tools (see Gene-Auto EMF Model Converters) and Gene-Auto Eclipse UI tools (see Gene-Auto Eclipse UI).

Most of these tools are based on the Gene-Auto Ecore metamodel (see Gene-Auto EMF/Ecore).
